Kate Kibarah’s expertise and experience are in the areas of human health and well-being; agri-business, food and nutrition; and organic production and consumption. She is the founder and CEO of Kate’s Organics - a privately owned Kenyan company that provides a broad range of solutions to improve human health and well-being and to promote a healthy lifestyle across Kenyan society and beyond. She is also the founder of the non-governmental organization ORGANIK (ORGanic Action Network In Kenya) whose objective is to catalyze and coordinate transformative action on organic production and consumption in Kenya.
Kate has achieved both national and international recognition for her work, winning various awards including Top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya; Kenya SME Winner (3 times); the pan-Africa Most Influential Women in Business and Government Award; and the pan-Africa Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a regular presenter and panelist on Kenyan television networks and holds various positions on the boards of national and international bodies, such as:
